After much tribulation, contemplation, compromisation, and negotiation...we got a tree. A cheapo one from Walmart. Last night we listened to Christmas music as we set it up and managed to keep the kitties from eating it. I have renamed them by the way. The orange one is Simba, and the black one is Nala. Setting up the tree was fun and I think we did a good job. Especially since nobody will probably see it (contemplation).

This is our accomplished tree. We are pretty proud of it. If you can't tell, it's up on one of our end tables. Very convenient since it's not the tallest tree in the world, and we have tree-eating kitties who try all day to jump up into it...but fail every time as I sit there and laugh.
Our place is a lot more Christmas-ee now, especially thanks to our great friends Jeremy & Christine for giving us some of their decorations. Our house is finally feeling like a home.
